I like experimental methods like waterroux's tcmll/tleg-1, l7e and other ways to expand roux in the hopes of efficiency, but I really don't get why cmlleo exists. It seems too forced when it's easy and still efficient to continue eo in lse. And you wouldn't get much benefit out of it since you would just be down to l6ep with only cmlleo look ahead, when you can look ahead easier with cmll and follow midges while doing eolr. Also, even if you do algorithmic eolr (which I don't know yet) it would still be quicker and less alg heavy then full cmlleo (and if you only use cmll algs that do eo with setup, that's still m moves or extra moves on pair insert before cmll, which is probably a regrip and just awkward to perform. Granted I am only like sub 30 with roux but I still don't get what the benefit is from an overall perspective.

Decided to give cubing another go after trying to start several times over the years. This series of videos was a huge help! Idk if im stupid or the tutorials i've been following previously were written bad, but this was way easier for me to understand than the basic method for some reason (well, when comparing later steps of algorithms at least). I dont get people saying the explanation of LSE is bad, there literally are a handful of moves you can do to solve it, guess some people are too used to strict algorithms for all steps or something, idk. Again, been a pleasure, great vid mate!

My first solve with roux is 1 minute and 13 seconds

EOLR can provide L4E prediction which can result into TPS spam and yes EOLR-B and EOLR are good in their own cases some B cases are not worth and it's better to just go with the regular and predict l4e some EOLR cases are not worth and it's better to just solve the ULR edges at the same time so learn. I like eolr better cuz I don't have to pause or do some paper calc to find good rec technique again

Just wondering could you do 4-2-3 edge paring on M so you wont have to rotate at all?

Thank you for this video! It all finally clicked when I saw the ulr move to permutate the blue and green at the end once all the edges were oriented. I can now do both roux and cfop with no problem. Do you have a video on advanced block building?

zbll is now way better than before, all algs are sub 1

there's something important missing here, yiheng gets 3-5 move second pairs pretty much every solve thanks to his amazing inspection skills so at a perfect level in theory, cfop is slightly better than this mentions
